I heard Roadhouse Blues by The Doors on the radio today, which brightened my day up.

Let it roll, baby, roll....

I took the dog out for a run and some steadiness training, and he did really well. Looking good for his test in less than 3 weeks!

I drove round trip to Edmonton today to quote a boiler room refit and one of the other bidders was my general foreman from when I was up in Ft Mac 3 years ago! Heck of a nice fellow and it was nice to see him. I won't even be upset if he gets the contract instead of me (but still I'd like it).

Got to walk the aisles at P&D while I was up there too

Think I've found a surefire way to improve my accuracy.
Installed the new Hi-Lift.
Finally got a chance to go through the photos of the last lunar eclipse.

Shot a 3 shot 1/2 MOA group at 1,000 meters this evening with the .223 - first long range shooting in a year so yeah, pretty happy!

Finally shook the stomach flu I have had for 4 days
Have more people interested in the fabrication equipment

Best part - got a thank-you card in the mail from the son of the AO member I took fishing in Rupert in July. That made my day!

watching the garden grow.
I should be able to lift the first potatoes soon.
Lots of cherry tomatoes coming on and cucumbers every day. Zucchinis and beans are a little behind in development - they went in late.
Raspberries have been good, but coming to an end.

Yesterday my 17 year old daughter finally woke up and realised that Trudeau is a worthless turd and she won't be voting for him when she's legal voting age in 2019. She's still worried about LGTBQ and snowflake feelings issues lol she's still not sure about Conservatives but I'm gently explaining to her that Scheer is not Hitler lol.

TURDeau "forgetting" Alberta in his Canada day speech and the big terrorist payout tipped the scale for her and she no longer is a clueless fangirl like all the other dumb little twats that put this clown in office.

I had tears in my eyes when my daughter finally saw Liberals for what they are.

No, they were rounds 55 & 56 for the year, at one of Alberta's tougher 9 hole tracks & one of my favorite courses, Mannville Riverview GC.

It is fairly rare that I see two calves but here they are.
Overall seems to be a great year for the deer and moose, lots of young ones around.
