Default Archery Ranges in Central AB

Howdy,

I'm curious where people head to practice long range? I've got a HHA that wants me to sight in at 60 yards. I can find places that let me get out to 40, but not more. Where is the best indoor/outdoor around central AB?

Where are you guys practising longer ranges?

Regards!

R

Drayton valley has a fita range that goes out to 90 meters at least, I think we were shooting at an apple on a rabbits head at 117 yards or so last year.

We can shoot 100 plus here at whitecourt too.

I am located in Red Deer. Travel to Calgary minimum once a week. So anything between here and there really works.

I am considering heading out to some crown land to shoot and camp, just not sure which direction would work best. Probably just going to head out towards Big Horn and see what is about. I don't want to be that guy out there shooting at a target while others are random camping nearby.
