Can never forget bear season in spring for bowhunting...But technically spring bear season except for two WMUs that are bow only and have a season...spring bear season is a rifle season..or "general" season in the remainder of Alberta...

True
lol

To be fair there are also northern Alberta zones that open sooner in August...but this is just the general Archery season for most of us in Alberta

****PUBLIC MESSAGE****

Well gang ONLY 57 SLEEPS LEFT until September 1st bow hunting opener…
A couple of years ago on the EVE of opening day of bowhunting season, I was helping out on a shooters bow…his name I will reveal was Dick…Now Dick is a good bowhunter but he always waits until the last minute to get his bow tuned…it was well over midnight and I had to be in the blind at 4:30…
He waited until the last minute to have his bow tuned!!!
Please
DON’T BE A DICK!!!!!
Please get your bow ready now!

Thank you …
Neil

So when would be a good time to start practicing with my bow?
Are there any broadhead sales Aug 31 worth picking my first set up at?
Do I need a bowhunting license..... for my crossbow?

(I hope it's obvious this is all a joke)

Do I need a bowhunting license..... for my crossbow? Nah.... That's just a money grab by the keepers of the Gov't coffers..... I always chance it.... And no, your crossbow should be good as well....

(I hope it's obvious this is all a joke)
Ha ha ha..... My answers are above in BOLD RED

And yes, I did answer in corresponding jokingly fashion..... Neil, you can just call me "Dick".... Bawahahahaha..... (My setup has been ready for months)....
