Always check peep sight for burrs sharp edges etc...even plastic can cut

Never have had a problem with the G5...HOWEVER...

When shooters adjust peep while tuning bow...many don't use a press...now the peep is sandwiched between the strings under extreme force at higher bow weights...moving the peep without pressing or tuning down bow weight may cause damage...this applies to all peeps...

a smooth round wedge like a thick pencil on either side of pencil that is slightly bigger than peep will help but...
the safest way to adjust peep is relax string in bow press and adjust...

yes always press a bow to move peep or installing a drop away where you are putting the cord through the cable .... those string separators do more damage then anything... just picked up a precision peep to see how well it works..

I use only Specialty Archery peeps for this reason (and a few others). Have never had a problem since I switched to them.
