Default PB pike for 2019 so far

Yesterday was slow but Saturday was great....the wife and both hooked into our best pikes of the year so far and I learned a lesson in the value of quality hooks.
Lost a monster at the hole when 1 treble tine broke off and the other bent right out straight allowing him to get off. Was a pre fab northland tackle quick strike with the big #1 trebles. The head on that fish was quite a bit bigger than the one I'm holding.

Nice catch there and yup northlands has questionable hooks on thier tackle, I switch them out.

Nice job on the PB of the year! Invest in some nice crimps and either heavy fluoro or steel leader material for your quick strike rigs You can customize how you like and will save money and lose less fish!
