Interesting to see that a organization that is about raising money to help conserve and improve sheep and sheep habitat, doesn’t have a sheep hunt as a prize in their yearly raffle….

I was thinking the exact same thing.... That sheep hunt prize from last year sure suited the function appropriately!! Not that this is crappy prize, but it doesn't seem to have the same impact on me as the last couple years first prizes especially for a Sheep Foundation.

I could not agree with you more, however there has been alot of feedback from other members wanting to see a hunt that will perhaps attract a wider range of hunters.

I'd love to win one of those hunts but I don't think I could go through hiking up and down those hills very well. My hip would give out in the first 500 yard climb

Well ya need not worry about that, you can leave the climbing up to me. After I win it, there will be one less 'bou and goat on the hill!!

I thought the same but still will support and purchase a few tickets. FOr me it would be the goat and a toss up to the moose or caribou.

Previously they had did a sheep hunt foe the raffle...right?

Yep I believe the past couple years it was a Dall hunt with Gana River. Ya I'd prefer a sheep hunt too - but heck I've already bought some tickets and sure wouldn't argue with winning a chance to hunt 2 of the following 3 species goat/caribou/moose. Fairly certain I'd opt for goat & caribou.

Moose/Goat for me! Sorry I'll miss the banquet but as usual, I'll pick up a few tickets at the Calgary Boat and Sportsmen Show.

They told me that sheep hunts are too expensive to raffle.

I will be happy with any hunt I win, but the sheep hunt would have been nicer.
Not sure but heard that Harold was going to put in a hunt again this year too but FNAWS changed it.

Looking forward to the banquet in March. See everyone there and hope to meet a few other AO members. Met a few last year and all seemed like good guys.

Looking forward to the dinner as well. Our tables were pretty tame last year, so we've decided to stay up there the night enabling a few more pops this time around. Should be a good time once again.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Might have to get a room at the Capri and have a touch more fun LOL
