Default The dogpound tonight

I went to dogpound tonight. I pulled in my first decent brown. 18 inches.
The picture didnt turn out so good. That creek is so suprising. Every turn is another great hole. I hooked into another on my way out. It got off. Actually as i was stripping it in the line slipped out of my hand and he got off. Oh well it wasnt much over a foot anyways.

I also took some video of the release.

Fish, if you're going to tell fish stories you have to learn to tell them right. The one that got away is ALWAYS a big one.

I have heard that there are brookies in this creek. Are they spread out or are there better places to try in this creek than others? Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

My limited fly fishing experience is mainly at the Bow so I am keen to try something smaller and am really interested in hooking a brook trout.
