Default Bear rug

Got my bear rug back from the taxidermist from my 2015 hunt. He doesn't put any kind of hooks/eyelets in it for securing to a wall or ceiling.
Not a big deal until Felix the kitty cat showed up last year, so i would like to put it up high to keep it away from Felix.

Any one out there have suggestions.?

If I remember correctly, I put some small nails thru the top edge of the rug and just let it hang. And every now and again, I noticed the hair was ruffled so I would brush it out and think nothing of it. One day I'm sitting in the chair watching the tube and my one cat walked into the living room, did a shoulder check and sprang to the top of the couch and then to the ceiling ....on my bear !! And then, another shoulder check....I couldn't help it....I broke out laughing.

Small washers hand sewn into the felt will hold it up. Looks nice and tidy.

Hung my zebra rug with small black flathead finishing nails tacked around the edges and the middle where it wanted to sag. It is a heavy rug.
