3 new legal accounts and a very lucrative phone call I have been waiting a long time for made me smile today.
Plus I got some new toy airplanes for my grandsons

Slayed a dragon or two in the day. They'd probably be 9.5-10's in Rycroft though.

Nasty around here with all this smoke and stink around. Makes me happy to realize I do not live within vicinity of an active volcano or one of those smoked up cities you see pictured in China

Gorgeous country and a very popular place to boot (Carpathian mountains).
I met people from all over. You'd never know a war was going on east of here.

When you go though the stuff in your freezer and find a backstrap you forgot you had left from last season.

Seeing five cows on the field I am planning to take one on when gun season is here. Was a pleasant evening.

A couple of weeks ago, I dug some more and had to take three breaks from grinding going outside to make my eyes feel better better. The sauce I was making turned out quite dandy!

I made me happy that I didn't get any bills in the mail and it didn't snow. I went for a walk and met a 94 year old man behind his place and stopped to say hi. Well it made him happy and me too because he had about 80 years of yarn to spin. Ended up talking for an hour. Take time for our elders... they have great reflections of forgotten times.

^ Good stuff! I talk to my neighbour every other day or so. Half an hour is the minimum. Many times we talk about the same thing. He tells me a story he told me the day before and two days before that. Still fun. He tells me how the town had changed and what was here and there 10-15-20-30 and so on years ago. What was in my backyard when he just moved in the next door an eternity ago and other interesting things. Cool stuff.

P.S. Elderly are cool folks, until they learn how to type and browse the internet, find AO forum, etc (before some fellas get all uptight, it's joke)

Wife and I spent the entire summer working our butts off getting our Airdrie house ready for sale. Everyone said we were crazy for spending the money and investing all the time and that we would not get our money back etc...

Well we listed it on Monday and less than 24hrs later we have a deal done closing in 3 weeks fora minimum 25k more than every other house in our neighbourhood and for 12K more than the realtor thought we would get!

Hard work pays off!
