Default Water proof cell phone case that mounts to your vest

I was reading a magazine and seen a guy who had a little cell phone pouch that was attached to his hip pack strap or vest .Not sure if it was water proof or not.I was wondering if anybody nows were to find something like that.Or if anybody has any similar things they use.It would be awesome to have something like that if I remember right it looked clear as well so you could see who was calling.I have a young daughter and everytime the phone rings I need to look to make sure nothing happened and I hate fumbling around standing in the river trying to get my phone out and what if it falls in.i have been googling it but can't find to much and info would be greatly appreciated. Also it wasn't so much a case but more like a pouch.

here are a couple I found in MEC and they have more options on their website. I've also seen pouches and boxes at Campers Village.

This can have velcro straps added to hold to your vest or strap.

They make them in several sizes. I have one and it works grate. I can get my car key and my phone in the one I have.

Got mine in a set of 3 at Canadian tire.

Hope this helps

Thanks so much fit your help I really like the pouch style.with the pelican cases do you guys hang them off yourself or just put in your pocket?I was thinking a pouch style would work good as it's not big and bulky and you could just look at it and see if you needed to answer or not.thanks for your help again

I've seen Otter Cases.
Apparently waterproof
See their story here:

I use the " E Case" from Campers village for my I phone. Its clear both sides with a blue casing around and has a thick zip lock to open and close it. It also has a hole in the corner to attach a Lanyard. I wear around my neck and tuck it in my front inside of my waders (sits on top of my wader belt) so the waders carries the weight of the phone. like a big open pocket. Nothing scared me more trying to take a picture when you are trying to safely handle a fish and the fear of dropping your exposed phone. this way you are more hands free and can drop the phone anytime.

Lifeproof case will work and will allow you to use your phone without taking out of a case. I've dropped mine a few times in the river no issues and use it in the shower to listen to music. Phone is 3 years old

Tried them all and I've come to the conclusion that cases are a pain in a buttocks. My contract is about up and my next phone is either gonna be S5 Active or the Z3, both are water proof

I have the Lifeproof case on my i5S,just this week coincidentally the door/cover for the charging port snapped off...very flimsy...only 6mths old,no longer waterproof and I'm not impressed.
Prior to this phone had an i4S in Otter Armour....waterproof,dust proof, crush proof to 2000psi...that thing took a beatn and was bulletproof....unfortunately,it was also nearly soundproof...the membranes get dirty and clogged, hard to hear/talk,speaker phone function was useless/creates annoying echo etc.

Near $200 spent on overpriced junk protective waterproof cases and I haven't dropped my phone or taken an unplanned dunk in 3 years.....probly better off going back to my old school,$20 waterproof Plano cell phone case for fishing?Dont care that I can't use the phone in Plano case,I don't want to bothered when I'm fishing anyhow.

Samsung galaxy s5 and another phone or two are now fully submersible. Shock proof and a few other beneficial things.

6 months send it back. I sent mine in at about a year no issues they sent me a new case ASAP same with otter box. If your cases are getting beat up try being nicer to it. I sent mine back as the silicone was peeling a bit. No other issues I work construction and my new case still looks new a year later

Thought I would bring this up again found some otter box cases at sports check on 130 at front counter that are good for a 100 feet and are on super cheap I bought two for 1288 each regular 25 and the next size up was 19.99 from 30 bucks so a great deal there right at the front if your looking for them near at the bottom
