Rob Furlong and Canadian Snipers

As some of you may be able to tell by my screen name I like long range shooting and snipers. I thought I would post up this two part news clip from the CBC...I know they get a bad wrap but they did this one very well. It goes over some of the Canadian sniper training and they interview Rob and he talks about the day he made the 2430 meter shot.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. The part of the Canadian/American ammo difference was an interesting detail.

I know Rob F. and have hunted with him before. he is a bang up guy, straight shooter (no pun intended).

Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. I found the difference in ammo kind of interesting myself

I do not "know" him but I have had the chance to meet him a couple of times. I would have to agree, my first impressions were that he was a good hearted fellow.
