preparing furs for market
Dad and I ran a resident trapline here on the prairies in the late 70's and up to about '86 or so - when ever it was the market tanked. I really enjoyed it and we've talked about getting back into at least shooting more fur. Part of the fun was the skinning, stretching etc and having the finnished product ready to sell.
So has anything changed about the way 'they' want the fur finished? We left about 3/4 of the front legs on, basicly all of the back leg excluding the paw, the ear cartilage and the lips on the tube skinned hide.
Thanks for the help guys
