Default Wheel spacers on SxS

Has anyone tried wheel Spacers on their quad or SxS for clearance for using chains? I have a set of chains and the chain is almost rubbing the rear shock. I'm thinking some spacers would be the ticket.

Check the clearance on the front tires they might rub the inner wheel well with them on.

I'd go with offset wheels over wheel spacers for sure.

I'd just buy better tires.

Stay away from spacers if you can.

Good tires would be better than chains IMO. I have a 70" snowblade for my rhino. NO issues pushing snow, and this unit can push a lot of snow.

Maybe on a quad, chains would help traction due to weight difference between quad to a SxS

I have spacers on the front of my Outlander and haven't had any problems over about 3000km. I was worried that the spacers would affect my steering but no problems so far.

If your chains are clearing, I wouldn't worry about it. Shouldn't need much clearance there if the chains fit right.

I have good tires. Mud bugs. Just want something so I can bomb through some snow to get to where I want to go. Chains are just for this trip. With the wide tires I have clearance issues.

What’s the difference the center if the tire remains the same so the extra pressure on the front end remains the same. The spacers are just cheaper

I'm just installed both chains and got my family to stand on my SxS. Looks like I gain clearance when weight is on but I may get some spacers to toss on just when I want to use chains. I'm just doing the rear at any rate.
