Default A-max bullets

I want to try these bullets for some long range paper killing and I can't find any. I am looking for .284 162 grain A-Max without moly. I tried Russell and Wholesale both in Calgary and in Saskatoon. Tried Corlane up in Dawson (on their waiting list) and SIR (backorderd 45 days +). Anyone have any suggestions? Is there any place in Red Deer I could try? Does P&D do mail-order? Wow, I never thought I'd have this much trouble getting a stupid bullet.
Any other suggestions for a paper killer? I was thinking about the 160 or 168 grain Matchking. Any thoughts are welcome.

Yes P&D will mailorder.
Another chance in Higginson powders in Ontario.

Tom at Higginson's sells them
(613) 632 9300
Also try Pud at Bashaw Sports, he sells Hornady bullets as well and will ship the to you if he has them.
If you want the best, give Paul Reibin a call at Rangesports unlimited
(250) 372 7030
He sells Lapua and Seirra bullets, and he just may have some Hornadys as well.

Backcountry Sports in Red Deer has a pretty good selection of reloading components, they may be worth a try.

I've had great success with A-max bullets but have recently done even better with Hornady's BTHP match. I'd suggest you maybe give them a try.

For a replacement paper killer, try the Berger 168 gr VLD.

Default Thanks

Thanks for all of the replies folks. I would love to try the berger Bobby B but they are in the same predicament. Nobody has them. I managed to find 1 box of A-max bullets from Powder-Keg. Like I said before this was brutal. Maybe I will try the BTHP as well.
Again thanks for the help guys.

only as a last resort, their mark up can be a little rough. I saved $100 alone on my RCBS reloading kit and $50 on varget powder and Hornady 168GR A-MAX bullets. Its sometimes worth the drive into calgary and hit wholesale sports
