I called P&D to pre order one, but they told me that the Sako Rep wasn't taking orders for them till next spring at the earliest, so I was out of luck.

I wouldn't count on anything the Sako rep has to say it's been over 5 years and he never got back to me about a magazine for a pre-vixen .222! Don't hold your breath. No surprise UFA is also having trouble with Stoeger........Harold

I was down in montana and took a look at the A7, I do not know what to think. I don't like the stock, I am not scared of plastic by any means but it still has the plastic bolt shroud. the gun was supprisingly light. the bolt is obvioulsy sako smooth. but is it a big step up from the tikka? I do not know. I think the biggest benifit the A7 has over the tikka is a true short action. The A7 in a 270 wsm would be a sweet little package.
