Default Can cannabis kill the user?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/canna...nada-1.5362007

With cannabis being legal the studies coming out seem to be showing there is harm from cannibis usage.

Not a benign drug for everyone.

Any users see or hear of CHS?

Come on, all the Pot Heads and activists know it's harmless.

Never heard of CHS with cannabis. Read the article and thought hmmmm. Could be possible with the street stuff being laced with who knows what. That would only be a guess on my part. As far as a habitual constant smoker, I don't think so. Maybe if you could find 50% THC, then your smoking something else. Street chit will get laced. The stuff you buy from regulated legal growers....no. I've told some a lot younger than me that back in the day I've smoked more weed than they will ever see in their life. Gave it up about 20 yrs ago and now legal, just puff once in a while now (once a month maybe). This kid in my opinion had underlying problems. I'm still here and so are my friends. My thoughts

Like anything, moderation is key. After reading article, it looks like illness is linked to "heavy" use. Same thing with alcohol. Drinking too much daily can give you many issues. Moderation does not apply to fishing however, that you can do daily.

Ya some of the grades they have now are awesome and seem to be more potent, they also have their names to go with it. One or two puffs for me now and I'm done. The more you use the more tolerant you get. They had names before also. Acapulco Gold, Elephant Weed, Wheelchair Pot, Thai Stick, just to name a few.

The antis have been desperately trying for decades to link a single death to smoking weed. I doubt this case will be proven to be caused by weed either. For the ridiculously high usage level of weed and the ridiculously low level of death caused by it, you'd think people would move on to fry bigger fish by now.

THC oil sure helps me sleeps, nothing for pain. However CBD oil works for pain. THC affects your BRAIN, CBD affects your body ...Just sayin'

So the gist is no one feels this is real and that someone died of excessive pot use?

It seems legit yet likely rare.

A beer, then Wine, and then the hard stuff.
A cigarette, then a cannabis, and then the hard stuff.
Where does it end? Only you can tell.

Thinking like this makes reminds of the old commercials. Anything you put in your lungs, besides good clean air, isn't good for your health.

Well they always said that cannabis is the gateway drug and some choose to open that gate. The medical industry always seem to find new and almost unheard of diseases or very rare cases of such (CHD). One guy misdiagnosed with type 2 diabetes when they finally got it right, he had either type 1 or they called it 1.5. This kid could have been misdiagnosed and they haven't figured it out his weed is lace with angel dust. I don't know.
CBD for me and once in awhile a mix with THC for the intense or funny movies or video games. I tried my sons virtual reality setup a couple times and WOW that's an experience and a half. Smoking not for everyone, the oil drops might be for you. Put on this earth maybe for a reason "Wild Wood Weed"

The truth is, it depends on your personality and your life style as well as a number of genetic factors.

Do I believe it is is physically harmful?

Not really, no.

But it goes deeper than that.

I am deaf and have ADHD and a very addictive personality.

Weed ruined my life. I was fine for many years with a casual toke here and there and then I got hurt and began smoking every day. Pretty quickly I went to sleep stoned and woke up stoned.

It saps your will to live when you do that, there was so much more to be done that I was ignoring in favor of just getting high. I stopped doing my hobbies, ate like crap and gained a ton of weight ... it took me a really hard struggle to get off it.

It’s not physically addictive but it really is psychologically and like anything else can really screw up your life when not moderated — and some people just don’t have the ability to moderate it.

Exclamation

'Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome' (CHS)

About three years ago (when weed was still illegal) a friend of my Son's, survived a horrible case of CHS ... it almost killed him.
