No, playoffs too.

In his lone appearance he racked up 6 goals and 10 assists for 16 points in just one kick at it. How many Shames have similar stats? How many Shames have seen the second round?

I keep forgetting what juggernauts the Shames are in the playoffs

Good thing you are not a Doctor...Fibula is far from a foot injury

I've passed your concerns on to TSN.

Oh yea, beast mode last year, and the year before.

Why do you care about the Flames, fan at heart? Who else do you want to chat about on the Oiler's thread, Lightning, Bruins, Vancouver? I get it, anyone but the Oilers would be more entertaining, just seems odd to keep bringing other teams up...

Check out the Fundraiser Auction thread Item #14 is 4 tickets to the Oilers vs. Stars on Nov. 16th. Great donation by Too Bits. I would be all over these tickets but I’m fly in from my brothers wedding in Mexico until later on the 16th about 10:30pm. Great chance to see the game and support Ian Skerry to help him get back on his feet after losing his home.

I'd probably retire to after 10 or 12 years a Stanley Cup and millions in the bank and go smallmouth bass fishing in Manitoba. But he could have let them know last spring

Maybe he did let them know. It's not unlike a GM to not listen to his player.

The article I read indicated he did but Cheveldayoff was/is trying to convince him to play one more year.

I think as training camp got closer he realized his heart wasn’t into it.
He’s an awesome player.....

With millions sitting in my bank account.......hmmmm.... training camp with sprints and weights and food guidelines or fish camp? Life’s short. Follow your heart.

Agreed. Definitely wasn’t a floater or a lazy player from what I saw of him..

Placing the Alberta Flag on the Calgary Flames uniform is akin to putting lipstick on a Pig

We are going to have to take the good with the bad from Smith...last game he fired the puck at the opposing teams bench and they got a too many men on the ice penalty..so it will be a give and take all year
