Earlier Pheasant Season (Some Areas) This Year?

Just purchased my Pheasant License as I usually do this time of year. Reading the Regulations, it shows the Season opening Sept. 1/11 in WMU 210 which is where Bigelow is located. Is this correct? If so, I've just missed 1 month of Hunting at that site. How are the released birds this year at Bigelow?

I would bet there will be no pheasants at Bigelow before about Oct 6 or so

This came up before I called that # on the regulations and the lady told me"the gov't didn't buy any more birds than last year and they won't be putting any out until the 15. Except for the exercise you didn't miss anything.

Hey densa44,

Thanks for your reply back. Too bad that no birds will be released until Oct. 15/11 which makes the early season opener in WMU 210 a waste other than training/exercise time.
