Default Bows across the border

Has anyone ever bought a bow from the states and brought it back to canada? Any difference in pricing and would there be more hassle such as extra paperwork?

I ordered one from the states off of eBay. No paperwork, no problems. I'm not sure about bringing one across the boarder in person.

APA are made in Bigger, Sask. don't have that problem. Support Canada. And shoot the best. Shoot an APA you won't regret it. I haven't met anyone that doesn't like shooting them.

Just don't get caught doing that.....they frown on that sort of thing in customs.

I bought my last bow in the States. I declared it and paid the HST (BC). It was way cheaper than buying it at home. I buy all my arrows in the States, for half the price as here.

I brought 2 bows across the border. I was under my max spending amount. Didn't pay anything extra and was told "welcome back to Canada".

The gift thing only applies to items valued under $60.00 anyhow......pretty well all bows would be over that

All my Athens bows I get out of the states . It costs me about $38 to get them shipped straight to my door, and that includes customs charges!

Just so you know they may not honour your warranty if purchased in the US or on ebay, that said I bought my Hoyt off ebay at 1/2 the cost of buying it here.
