Default hunting bobcat in alberta

hell all..

I've reviewed the Alberta hunting and trapping regulation and still could not determine if it is legal to hunt bobcat if you are not a register trapper. In FMA 8. Can anyone shed light on the question?

many thanks

Yes you can hunt bobcats, but only in certain zones and you have to register them.

Bobcat
A resident may, without a licence from November 1 - February 28, 2009, hunt (but not trap) bobcat in WMUs 102, 104, 106, 108, 112, 116, 118, 119 and in the portion of WMU 110 that lies east of highway 2 and south of highway 3. All kills must be registered at a Fish and Wildlife Division office.

Has anyone here ever targeted bobcat successfully in those WMUs?
