If you need to worry about the UN going door to door in Canada....things are so FUBAR it will make Trudeau's government look like a well balanced moderate, fiscally responsible government. Going to take a pass on that tinfoil.

Not to say they won't ban restricted, I think they will try...but the UN coming to confiscate? Nope.

How else will they enforce gun restrictions without local police or military involvement?

No one is going to give them up,and for that they will be labeled a non compliant terrorist, good luck finding somewhere to escape to with that on your record!

Once that deal is signed the UN owns Canada, they use foreign fighters for this sort of thing, it's been done over and over again, usually they get the guns 1st, that makes it easy for them.

This warms my heart just a little. I'll ask my LE buddy the same question at his Christmas party this coming Sat, there will be many other LE in attendance.

For as much as that warrants a reply...I got nothing that will cut through the tinfoil. If that's really where you are at, why are you still on the grid? Posting on a public forum? You have a cell phone? Get your power from the grid? Bank online? You have an Internet connection?? Damn.

Sell everything, buy silver, and move to the far northern Yukon. And don't forget to take a couple cases of beans, some salt and flour, and keep your powder dry. And some whisky. Don't forget the whisky.

Trudeau has done nothing of value for canada and attacks any group who's opinions don't align with his social Marxist worldview.

I understand that for sure.. I own several hand guns and I know if they become prohibitated they are essentially worthless.

I however also see that when someone who owns them readily gives them up/sells them, that makes the ppl who want them gone happy. What they don't want is people refusing to get rid of them in any fashion and fighting their agenda.

By getting rid of them, I see that as following suit to their agenda, but wanting to make sure you got your money back before the agenda hits the floor.

I do understand not using them and seeing whats on the horizon and wanting to get out while you still can. I understand that, but I will hold on to mine out of spite to fight whats happenning. I will loose a lot of money in doing so if they get their ways though.

Where do you suppose my restricted firearms went when I sold them? They didn't cease to exit, they just belong to a different owner now. So they are still in the system, likely being used more than I used them. I actually sold around 30 firearms over the past few years, but most of the money went into a few higher end firearms that I use on a regular basis.

Alberta, Sask, North is the last hope for conservatives. Globalists are taking over. It will be authoritarian governments. The year 2032 (14 years). Fact is all western nations are similar. Pushback by French, there is sign of rebellion. Canadians docile. We scrap in hockey, not politics?

Trudeau pushing hard for handgun ban.

I get your point that they are still in the system, but now we are one less hand gun owner. Which they consider win.

Yes they could have been someone elses first handgun and you might have another handgun you did not sell, but I'm just trying to explain my thinking.

At least one of my handguns was the first handgun for the buyer, so your thinking is flawed.

I already acknowledged this could be the case. You don't seem to see my point, which is fine. I'll try again, if you sold all your hand guns, there is one less hang gun owner out their because of the potential new laws. Yes, if you sold it to new hand gun owner, its still the same # of owners. If they look up the number of current hang gun owners (not the number of RPAL's) they are happy to see this number go down.

Default Alberta Independence / Separation

The only answer is for Alberta to separate. Albertan's need control over our social policy, our economic policies, immigration, our borders, gun control, Legal System, our taxes and how they are spent.

Even if we have a Conservative Provincial and Federal Government, these governments will always be at the mercy of stupid voters who may vote them out next election and then we are back at square one, having our economic prosperity as a province at the mercy of dumb Politicians from the east.

A strong experienced leader is just what Alberta needs to lead the Separation movement.

It took over 150 years to build Canada, lets stop talking the nonsense of separating like Quebec, just get out and vote next election, problems solved.

If it were really that easy...voting in Alberta won't solve anything, as the Federal Government is decided before the polls close in Manitoba. What vote do you think is going to solve us not having pipelines? What vote is going to stop the massive bleed of transfer payments from Alberta to Quebec? Hmmm? Wishful thinking I'm afraid.
