We’ve got a bull moose, a cow moose and 6 guys with deer tags. Really looking forward to helping my 76 year old dad hopefully get a moose.

Good luck to everybody for those going for the first time the entrance to the base is on the west side of town. Turn south and cross the overpass. Then follow the hunter signs. Watch for service members on the cross walks lol.

When we checked only 3 bull moose and one cow moose. Not a ton of deer. The sign is there, just didn’t see much. Saw a couple bulls, we have a cow tag.
Back at it tomorrow. Good luck

We are here for cow also. Was a less than stellar day. Saw lots of deer but only 2 moose in a closed zone. Tomorrow going to be good.

We saw 3 bulls and 9 cows today. We only have deer tags, not moose. I’m surprised you didn’t find any moose

My wife harvested her first moose yesterday. I told her it's her tag. She could shoot whatever bull she wanted big or small. A small bull presented it self 120 yards through the bush. We made the stalk found a shooting lane she steadied on shooting sticks and the bull ran 50 ft at the shot he crashed hard. Wife was very happy. We gutted and quarter in the bush and I dragged out the quarters to the truck we got the truck within 80 yards. Skinned it and got it in game bags in 2 hours. Was a fun hunt with the wife. Seen a video of 2 monster bulls fighting on the base yesterday. Also seen a pile of deer. We will be there on monday for the deer hunt. I'll try and post pics.

I have a friend there right now with a bull moose tag. Not sure where your reference is...can you say which route, or intersection, it is close to?

I was using military grid reference but it’s south of khaki and east of yellow

Sorry, but sounds like they aren't quite sure still. They're wondering if that is the NW corner of J3?
