Cerakote DIY
I'm looking for some advice on Cerakote. I'm wanting to do this for myself and maybe for some buddy's on firearms and parts. I'm not looking to do this as a proffesion or take business from anyone that is.
Simply a hobby...... I think I have everything that's required from other hobbies I have at home.
-Compressors with filters
-large and touch up hvlp spray guns.
-iwata airbrushes
-small spray booth
-sand blaster and vinyl plotter for stencils at work.
-all the normal grease and dirt removal solvents
I think I'm only missing the oven to bake the cerekote painted items in?
I know they make a none bake cerakote but I wouldn't think it's as tough as the ceramic type?
To all the DIY people and even the pro's where are you buying your products in Canada? Do you have any advice on doing this at home?
Thanks for any feedback
