Default Caroline area fall camping

I would like to go fishing at some of the lakes around Caroline but I see that the Phyllis and Tay River campgrounds are closed. Any of you living that way know where one could camp at this time of year? I just have a van. Thanks for any and all info.

If you want a campground this site is 30 minutes south of Caroline.

https://www.albertaparks.ca/parks/ce...ng/seven-mile/

Otherwise you can check the list.

Default camping

Thanks Eugene I didn't know about that one, it is somewhat far from the lakes I want to fish but I may not have any choice, everything else seems to close on the Sept long.

That's run by the Caroline chamber of commerce and according to their site it's closed. Yet the Clearwater camping site says it's open until the end of Sept. I'm going to phone them later and see if I can talk to anyone...Probably just a machine.

Hi,
Wished it was different but Govt campgrounds are closed.
The Boundary store may be open

https://www.boundaryrvpark.com/

Or

Clearwater Trading Post.

http://www.clearwatertrading.ca/

Failing that, Parking on public land is your only option.

Regards,

Don

Clearwater is open. Call and you’ll get a spot. Was there last week.
