Default New Winchester SX-4 vs SX-3

I was in Bashaw Sports yesterday, and decided to have a look at the new SX-4. The SX-4 is definitely not an improvement over the SX-3, the trigger guard is plastic, and the stocks feel flimsy. The SX-4 feels lighter overall, but with the balance further forward, it feels slower to swing. . And with the remaining SX-3 shotguns at a good discount, I picked up another SX-3 to have on hand as a spare.

What’s the price on the sx3? I’m still kicking myself for not getting one at WSP for $839.00

Bashaw has the black on for $1009, and I paid $1029 for camo. I am not sure what they have left in camo. Silver Willow Sporting Clay's has a few in camo for $1050.

I have used my SX-3 as my waterfowl gun for about five years, without an issue, but I lent my friend my spare SX-3 and his boy liked it so much, he bought it from me. I decided that with the time I spent scouting and setting up hunts, I should have a spare again. I came across an SX-4 on sale for about $860, so I thought that I should look at one before ordering it. I drove to Bashaw to have a look, and I was disappointed in the SX-4, and when I found out that they still had SX-3s, I decided that I should buy one before they sold out. I have also owned a SBE2 , and an A400, but the SX-3 fits me better, and I shoot it better. And I have about as much invested in the two SX-3s as a new SBE3 or A400 sells for.
