Is this a Prohibited or A restricted Weapon
I am wondering about under what classifications is this rifle a Desert Tech MDR .308. I believe it is just a restricted weapon. I just need to be sure. Thank you

The forum isnt the best place to determine legal classification. Best check with the rcmp. Im not sure if that desert tech has finished being classified yet, as it is pretty new.

- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

I thought they were offering a version with longer barrel so I would guess that would fall under non-restricted like the Tavor, but we will have to wait and see what they classify it as...

Wow! I started following the MDR production years ago, wondering when it would arrive in Canada. Never it seems, if the CGN news is true. The forum writings could be incorrect though.

The Calgary Shooting Centre has posted a copy of the letter from the RCMP on their dealer forum on CGN. "Bad Valentine's Gift" is the topic title. Seems legit, although I question a lot of things these days.
