It doesn't matter to me. I can wait

I am also heading up to the West end of Edmonton for Christmas, I can meet up with you and bring the flies back home to Airdrie and deliver them to Crawad if that works for you?

Seeing how things will be frozen for the coming months, I am in absolutely no rush.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone in the swap and especially Crawad for organizing this, it`s a tough time of year to find the time to tie, and shipping before Christmas creates even more problems.

I look forward to receiving the flies, and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

You wouldn't need a picture if you would have participated in the fly swap. Hopefully next time you can join in.

Ha agreed, i actually just bought a norvise system, tools and some materials near the end of November, so far I've tied about three dozen parachute Adams #12s and 14s...they started out a little rough but I'm starting to feel like i know what I'm doing...having a lot of fun and kicking myself in the butt for not investing and getting started years ago...next time a swap comes along i would hope my skills are far enough along to participate!

We'll see.

I'm not too sure about "cool", but you're definitely "special".

For tying parachutes check out "fly tying, the anglers art" with Carolyn Sells and Leroy Hyatt. Leroy ties his parachutes a little different and quite a bit easier. Maybe it's the way your doing them now but I've learned a few new tricks from that show and I've been tying for almost 30 Years.
