Default Sportsman channel

So what would I miss on wild tv if I cancelled and switched to sportsman channel? The new channel has some high quality shows that wild doesn’t, heartland bowhunter is one.

I have both and I watch the Sportsman channel way more. Wild TV really went down hill recently and I basically stopped watching it before the Sportsman channel came out

Only down side is no more WFN and I want both

Wild was just bought by Pursuit in the US so it will be changing a lot to. Think it's going to be called Wild Pursuit or something like that. They come in the same package for us hopefully something decent on both.

It’s hard to find true hunting no outfitters. Private land or public is fine , so little like Average Joe

Default Sportsman channel

From what I’ve seen tonight, Wild tv better change things up fast or they are a goner. I’m sick of the reruns and commercials.

Sportsman channel available on satellite? I haven't heard about it. But will agree WILD has gone downhill.

X2,

Looks like all the good shows have moved from Wild to Sportsman! I suppose that all depends on what your opinion of good is tho! I think wild better pull their socks up! Less Dianne “no kill” Hunter. Seems like the big money dogs are over on sportsman so the overall quality is better.

Only boo IMO the commercials on sportsman seem super super long. Maybe that will change the more established it gets. However thumbs up so far!

Default Sportsman CH

I discovered the Sportsman channel last week and found that its a nice change from what Wild TV has been serving up.
Like some of the above comments posted,Wild has to pull up their socks and make some changes. I understand the value of commercials in order to pay for programming, as well as re-runs of shows.
Some of the thinks that made me continue surfing channels is when I got to Wild TV and I hear "He shoots he scores", or the individuals that drops to their knees as they shake and cry as they pray to a higher power!
The SPORTSMAN Channel is my first choice.

I spent more time watching commercials and product promoting on wild TV than any program I’ve ever watched. Canceled and only watch YouTube channels which are far more entertaining and you can pick and choose what type of hunting you’re watching.

Flipping through the guide on my tv and the sportsman channel looks far superior to wild tv. No more rawhide hunting or Mitchell payment for this guy!

Two big thumbs up

Absolutely agree. Flippin disgusting!.

I hear, and it was mentioned on this thread too, that Wid TV has been taken over. Will wait to see if they gets better, if not I too am cancelling them. Total crap shows on there these days.

Have not seem Sportsman Channel yet on Shaw.

Was just talking about cancelling wild last night . Really suck these days . Pushed me to the you tube . Just subscribed to few good channels and the good part is when a new episode drops I could watch it whenever I want no reruns no waiting and wondering when a new show will drop

I am with Telus. I had canceled the theme pack that contained Wildtv. I just hooked it back up again because of this thread. I have both now. Won't watch WildTV much. This Sportsman Channel seems to have as many commercials as WildTV does.
