Default Ideas for an inexpensive fly rod build for a silent auction item.

So I have built... sorry Mr. A, ...assembled about 10 rods years ago and would like to assemble one for a silent auction. I will most likely attempt to dress up an inexpensive blank. Does anyone have ideas for a decent inexpensive blank or how you would dress it?

Hi,

Call Andy and discuss the issue with him. He’s a CDN dealer of rod stuff.

Batson blanks are my absolute favorite for relatively inexpensive builds. Angler's roost are even cheaper and still good rods but the shipping will get you. I've also built a couple "blanks by Roger" on ebay, he sells some neat coloured graphite blanks and components
