Thanks everyone I will likely just go loaded ammo route to get some brass to play with. At the end of the day I bought it for a donor action as the stainless bdl aren’t as common anymore

Unless I happen on some in my search for a decent price, since the 300saum is shorter than the 300wsm I was hoping to load some Berger 185gr

Phoenix has 4 boxes of loaded ammo, I bought there last two boxes of Remington core lokts. I think the 4 boxes they have there are hornady? I think they’re 45-65 bucks a box? Prices date back to 2006.

If you want to sell the rifle, let me know. I wouldn’t mind having another SAUM in the safe. Just finished putting one back together SS in a BDL stock.

Every firearm I own is for sale, but most people don't like my "I don't want to sell" price. Then again, I have been surprised now and then, but I did honor the deal.

Bought 4 boxes of loaded ammo yesterday at Phoenix gun range yesterday. I will see what kind of accuracy these will produce first.

Did he offer you a discount? He did for me when he wanted me to buy all 6 boxes. I just ended up going back and buying the two I already have brass for.

XReload has Norma for $68 per box of 25. I don't like Hornady brass, but loaded ammo is probably cheaper than buying just the brass.
