Default Rain, freezing rain

Just sitting here waiting for the 911 radio to start going off, weather like this it is inevitable. What's the weather doing where you are?

People need to slow down in this weather. A vehicle ripped by me today and I watched him lose control and hit the ditch, I made sure he was fine and kept going as he was driving like an idiot. 7 other people in the ditch and people still driving like its summer.

Been snowing on and off for about 6 days now..Highways not to bad as the plows and sand trucks seem to be keeping up..back roads while i was out hunting today...well thats a different story, pretty slippery on those. I missed a chance at a pretty big muley buck, some guys went and stopped there truck right on the road not to far from where the 2 bucks and 2 does were feeding in the field..i made sure that they saw me trying to get through the bush on foot..i had left my truck in my friends approach road into the field, there was bush between me and the deer so i thought it may just be a good opportunity as i had glassed them already from the road and made my plan to try and do the sneak on em...the guys in the truck scared them off with me to go through only about 20 more yards of bush so i would have a clear shot..they were only about 3-4 hundered yards from the road and only about 50 yards from the other side of the bush...i picked up the trail from where i saw them eating and followed them through the bush for awhile...but i didn't get to see them again, got to wore out from tripping through the bush as quietly as i possibley could...so back to the truck and off to home...you just got to hate that when that happens,i found out today that i am not healthy enough to be slogging through the bush...never used to be a problem, but it sure is now.

Didn't mean to hijack this thread..but i am still slightly po'ed about what happened...okay and now back to the weather,,

That was like last week when I was driving to work in a blizzards, I said to myself why the hell ai doing this called my budd (boss) said into comin in and grabbed Timmy's watched fire trucks head out with RCMP onto highway and stayed home all week . Built fish hooks instead . Seems after last year doing that 360 on hwy looking at traffic coming to me scared the living poop out of me and has me turned into a kitty cat.

I got snow Ken. Out west hunting.

Over 10" this week and still coming down. Animals are hunkered down too. Not an easy trip out here but the scenery sure is beautiful.

Did you get to sleep all night?

It is currently foggy, and snowing/raining 20 miles west of Redfrog's.

Sidewalk was fine at 7am went out to feed the dogs at 8 and almost went on my ***** on the sidewalk.

Radio said freezing rain from Thorsby to Westlock. Hinton is apparently getting hammered with a winter snow storm. Edmonton is a light mist/snow right now.
