Default Polar Bear

A client of mine would like to sell this bear rug, It have no head or paws.
What do you think it's worth?

i thought it was pretty difficult to legally sell any endangered species.

Does it have a number/papers? You can get a pretty quick idea by doing an online search. If you don't have a number/papers for it well.....

I would not pay over 400 per foot. That is assuming the taxidermy is good. Those kijiji prices are nuts IMO.

Does the type of bear effect the taxidermist price? Is an 8 foot black bear going to cost $8,000 to turn into a rug? Does an 8 foot Polar bear even cost $8,000 to turn into a rug?

The two taxidermist's I know here in Yellowknife are paying a thousand dollars a foot for green hides these days, if they can even find them at all.

The chinese are buying them like crazy and prices are through the roof. All of their traditional suppliers are selling the green hides directly to the chinese which has really dried up the supply in Canada.
