Default Garmin Rino 650

I am considering buying a few of these GPS/Radios for a fishing lodge so that we can communicate with each other. They are supposed to show everyones positions on the backscreen, be able to send text messages back and forth and allow people to communicate through the radio. Does anyone have any good/bad experience with the 650 series?

work pretty good, will only show other users positions if you are within radio contact. In the hills while I am hunting they work OK. on the lake you still have to be fairly close. I hate to give a number, but a mile MAX, the one time I used one on the lake.
