Looking for an Edm source for a piloted bit to open up guard screw holes for pilar bedding.

I won't be needing mine any time soon, PM me your address and I will send it over. Caliper the existing holes and if I don't have the right pilot I can make one. I need it back, they are like $70 from Brownells. The bit I have is .564" The pilots I have are .294 & .248

Thanks to both ... But it is amazing how creative a person who is both "cheap" and "has time" can be! Went to Home Hardware and for $23, picked up the hole saw ... Filed a bolt in my drill press for a "custom" pilot and viola... Slow and easy in my drill press from both sides of the stock, and I've got holes for the pillars

This project will be taking some time as I am feeling the draw to warmer climes. The start, showing just the tang end.
The original holes (actually a different stock, but you get the idea).

With the pilot inserted

Through the stock

The opened holes

An action with bolts an an uncut pillar

EDIT ADD: After the trigger is removed ...Next step is to cut the pillars to proper length and make certain the barrelled action sits properly with a bit of room for bedding compound under the action, and the barrel centered with proper free float.
Then goo up the pillars and holes ... Set the barrelled action in place and make sure the extended bolts fit properly through the holes in the bottom metal. Note, the bolts are coverd with a single wrap of black tape to make sure the bolts do not contact the inside of the pillars.

Who cares if you get the oversize pillar diameter drill bit right on the money? You will be filling the annulus with epoxy goo anyways. Am I missing something here? Precision is stellar, when needed. This just doesn't seem the time and place.

Bump for pikergolf. This worked for me. My preference is aluminum pillars with the proper contour to fit snug to the action.
