Default not too likely

If you cannot prove to be a resident of the state you are trying to purchase it in I doubt any store would even sell to a Canadian. Even if they did ammunition is likely included in (ITAR)goods that cannot be exported from the usa without an export permit and unless commercial I dont even think non residents of the US can even apply for a permit. things have really tightened up on bringing many firearm parts and goods since 9/11
Trying it with out proper authorization could get you on the no entry USA list for a good long while or worse.
Check at gun shows or even Stan Taylor at Eagle City Trading for rare ammo. He found some 38 ACP for me and I even got some Browning Naildriver 22 from him last spring.

So prophet river called that my ammo is on its way, after all the US shutdowns.

So my four boxes of 22 auto ammo came.
they shipped on the 7th of march, arrived here from prophet river on March 12th, they had four boxes left, so ended up ordering them too, figure might as well get all I can while it is around.

Default 1903

What is this type of ammo? And what is the difference, and why the high price? I have never heard of this before.

Contact Doug Rayner at raynershine gunworks if there is anyone in Canada that stocks weird ammo it will be him.

A "1903" is an early semi-auto Winchester chambered in "22 Winchester Auto" caliber. Totally different from 22LR, but still a rimfire. The predecessor of the Winchester model 63.

Among the places to check for obscure stuff like this is Elwood Epp's in Ontario.

after all this time with eyesight trouble, got to finally fire 10 rounds of this ammo for the 1903 win auto, now have five hundred more rounds coming from Prophet river, although ten is not a good test, it felt good and i hit the can each time, so now will have quite a stock of this ammo to play with, will be interesting to do some shooting over a chrony, and some accuracy tests.

Default stay away

From the gopher patch or you'll be out of ammo in an hour.My Grandpa had a Stevens .25 crackshot but lent it to a fool relative who proceeded to get a cleaning patch stuck in the barrel .Then decided to shoot it out ruining the barrel and returning it without paying for the gun.
