Default Loads for a rem 783

Hey AO i have recently purchased a remigton 783 in a 7mm. I was trying to find a good starting point on loads for it? Any advice is helpful. Thanks

Assuming it is a 7 Rem Mag, 160 grain bullets, I like the TTSX but you can shoot conventional a lot cheaper and they work fine on game too, over 4831 or 7828 SSC depending on which powder you have around and magnum primers. Start with mid range load, work on the COAL, within the mag's ability to accept the loaded round and where it is not jammed into the lands if you want to hunt with it. Once you find the best COAL, work up the load to find the fastest safe load.

If the rifle is chambered in 7mmremmag, I tend to favor 140-150 gr bullets, in front of R-22 or IMR 7828.

Anything that you guys have found works with 140ish grain bullets and H4350? I see it’s one of the powders listed and I have quite a bit of it right now. Yes, 7mm Rem Mag

I have used H4350 with 140gr bullets with good results.
