Default The new family......

Well guys and gals.....after some unfortunate circumstances....and a long wait i introduce the new family. I would like to mention also i could have gone out and got just one and spent a wackload of money on it but due to the circumstances that was not possible.so this it what i got. In front is a B22 savage topped with a vortex crossfire 3-9x40
Middle is a Remington 783 walnut in a 7mm topped with a vortex viper 6.5-20x50
Last is a Remington 783 HBT in a 308 topped with a vortex Diamondback 6-25x50

I will be loading for the first time on both the Remingtons. I would be intrested in what you guys think i should start with for that. Iv got alot of work trying to dial these in, its going to be fun! Happy quarantining stay safeout there.

I start my 308’s with 42.0 gr Varget / 168 or 155 gr Bergers / CCI BR-2 and go up in 0.5 gr increments. There is usually a sweet spot at 42.0 or 42.5 and again a couple of grs higher.

Yup, I think my one .308 load is 42.6 grains of varget and 168 gr nosler partitions with large 200 cci primers in Remington brass. 3 shots under half inch at 100.

Nice looking family OP! Nothing wrong with that, have a lot of bases covered with that spread. I think we all love when we get new rifles and optics.

You will have a lot of fun with your family, but like all of us if you think your family is done you have the fever and it's strong and there is no cure for it. Like they say " time spent with family is time well spent " enjoy
