Default When do you pull coyote sets?

How long into the year do you guys go until pulling sets and shutting down for the year?
With the breeding season approaching does anyone keep going or is it simply not worth it? I’m having so much fun that I don’t want to stop but looking for some opinions from the more experienced trappers out there.

February 29......we get an extra day this year. That’s provided that the fur doesn’t get too nasty.

I am by no means one of the most experienced of the bunch here but I pulled mine Jan 4 because of poor catch rates ,weather wasnt helping . I have now reset because of cold snap and catches have come back ..each year is different and I will try and go into first week of February when I start calving and I will have no time to check. If hides still were good I would go til end of the season if time allowed.

I go till mid to end of January when the breeding starts and the hides start looking rubbed. During breeding it’s slow at baits, coyotes are more interested at chasing tail and that slow down is not lucrative for me. I’ll pull my stuff then too so I don’t have to deal with the 2 feet of snow by February.

As long as majority of the hides are still good I go right to the end. If catches go right to zero for an extended period of time then I may pull out but as long as I'm still catching a few good ones il keep going.

Default When do you pull

I will be pulling mine in 2 weeks. When they are getting too rubbed, I will pull and leave the rest for seed.
