SBE2 issue

I have a new to me bennelli super black eagle 2. Sometimes it’s malfunctioning after the first shot. It releases two shells out of the magazine tube at once. They both sit flush end for end with each other in the magazine loading port. The third shell putting pressure on the second shell not allowing the second shell to come up into the chamber.

This is with Hevi-steel 3”. It did not malfunction this summer with 2 3/4” target loads.

I have stripped the gun completely down. Oiled and cleaned as per benelli tech videos on YouTube.

Any suggestions?

Same issue for sure. Unfortunately I have a couple flats of hevi steel for this season. Guessing that their cartidge stop adjustment would be bending it with pliers? I will take a look at it. Thanks
