Angry coyotes and rabbit snaring

does anyone have tips as to how to prevent coyotes from eating the rabbits i snare? the area I snare i cant shoot em! am tired of giving them a free meal. I also dont want someones beagle to get in trouble.

does the pulling down a sapling thing really work?

is there something to repel yotes but not bunnies ( tried the human scent thing, doesnt work!)

Default snare check

I find checking snares before daylight helps, ravens are aways up early looking for breakfast and with all the squaking the yotes will be there very quickly. Maybe marking the area with wolf urine will keep them away, haven't tried that one.Cheers

ah well guess I gotta share dem wabbits, maybe I will try the old native technique of a bent over sapling that lifts the rabbit up after snaring....I think the ravens eat less than a coyote?

I cant check before light as I drop my son off at school first......although maybe I should stake out some of my rabbit guts and try out my bow ! now about the wolf....dont think he'd pee in a cup for me

thanks for the advice tho. cheers!
