Default a bit-o-color

Got rocks in my head now, yah I know, big surpriseso I decided to take my car for a rip yesterday and headed south. Saw 1 rattlesnake sunning in the opposite lane near Foremost, it was gone on the way home so hopefully it walked off on its own. Got down to Mars, ok Writing On Stone, to check out the fall colors and as always ponder the weird and wonderfully interesting formations. Might be a bit cooler up top on the grass but it was still quite warm on the trails amongst the rocks. The campground was beautifully colored, the prairie dry as a popcorn fart in a furnace. Had to reduce the photos for the internet but hopefully they arent too bad. Got down there and discover both my camera batteries were dead and the charger was back home in my truck. usually the perfect formula to see amazing things to not photograph but at least my phone camera was there

Nice Pics, I haven't been there for quite a while. It's an amazing place. Can you still walk down to the petroglyphs on your own or is it guided now?
