River Boating - Edmonton
Hi there! My husband’s son is coming up from Newfoundland for the rest of the summer and he was hoping to go on some camping/riverboating adventures with him. We live near Redwater and normally just launch our boat in the North Sakatchewan river at the boat launch in Fort Sask and then head into the city For a day trip with our 4 year old but now that he’s planning over night trips, he’s wondering where to go. He’d still be leaving from the Fort but looking for a route to go, where there’s camping along the way. He thought he read somewhere that camping on crown land is no longer allowed. Can anyone provide some insight?
