Default Getting a pallet from Vancouver

There’s a thing that I’m interested in bidding on, but it’s in Vancouver.
One single pallet about 300 lbs.

Can anyone suggest a carrier?

Thanks

I've shipped pallets using Rosenau, pretty reasonable rates from what I remember.

I use CSA transport for pallet shipments all the time and they have always been easy to work with and fair rates.

Best thing to do is shop around. It really depends on who has an LTL heading this way with a pick/drop near your points .....

What has worked for me is getting a quote and tell them it is an auction item you are interested in bidding on. I find they will get really competitive in their quote as they are almost invested in your bidding. The one that usually does the best for me is Manitoulin Transport. Get the pallet to their nearest loading docks to you and pick it up yourself from there.

Last comparable deal i got was a smaller excavator bucket that was strapped to a pallet from Toronto(Ritchie Bros) to Sparwood,B.C. Terminal for 213.00 inc gst.
When they ask for weight be as accurate as you can because they will weigh it and charge you for exactly what it weighs. Your quote will change fast if you are light in estimation.

I've had good luck with Manatoulin. If you have a company name, use that for the quote. Prices seem to be much lower for a company than for an individual.

I used Trusted Dispatch last year, was quite reasonable and you can deal on rates a bit.

I’ve had excellent results with Roseneau as well. I’d check with them first.

If possible, have it shipped to a business address. Carriers usually have a surcharge for delivery to a private residence.

You aren’t likely to get a pallet of any significant weight shipped to a private residence.

More likely you will be going to the carriers depot to pick it up.

Cheers
