would love too but I've got to work. I was out yesterday on the North end tried everything from 2ft to 20ft and nada, the iceis almost thick enought to drive on but I wouldn't do it yet. There's also a shortcut around the east side which would devrease the walking distance

I was out there Saturday too for an hour or so before I went back to Beaumont. There was a fellow out about 50 ft from shore with a Dakota. The ice was 10-12" thick. There was about 10 people out fishing when we were there. Going to come back with the proper tackle next time and stay a little longer.

Were you the guy driving on with the toyota? I was going to drive on today, but kinda hard with a 2wd ranger. I was fishing 6 - 8 feet, and not one hit. One other guy fishing the east side never got anything eather.
