Default sako a111 bases

Need help please. Sako a111 300 win mag, Nikon monarch 3 scope. Standard Sako rings on the dovetail are too far apart to fit my Nikon shortbodied scope. Other than Sako extended bases and optilock rings, are there any Leupy bases, or other options that will work? I'm not being cheap, I just don't like Optilocks! Thanks

Burris makes bases that slide onto the Sako dovetails, and then you can use extended Leupold rings to obtain the proper ring spacing. That s exactly what I used on my own Sako, as I am not a fan of the optilocks either.

Was a little confused on what to put on a sako vixen .222, went to wholesale sports and they put these on. Hope they work well.

Thanks. I'll do the google thing, and give it a try. Had a Bushnell 3200 on the old beast for years, but, of course something bright and shiny caught my small minds attention.
