Default On the dry in Nov!?

Played hooky yesterday as it was just to warm out for a Nov day. I have to say I have never caught anything on the dry in the month of November. May never get the opportunity again.

Got into a bunch of rising fish myself yesterday...weird spot, 18" of water, couldn't get a drift with the dry so I swung a backswimmer in front of them, job done!

I was up at Bear Pond a few weeks ago... the lake was about 90% covered with about half an inch of ice, but there were fish rising where there was open water.... even had one go after a blaze orange strike indicator. Not the brightest fish apparently up there...

Out to a private rainbow pond on Thursday, throwing deer hair and foam grasshoppers, they were coming up and slamming them soon as they hit the water.

Cool - I was so tempted to go out on Sunday but the Eskimo game got the best of me, for sure that was probably my last chance.
