Post Confusing...can you sell a coyote?

I overheard two guys talking at the counter over at hunting store and one of them mentioned that he could sell a coyote to a guy for x-amount of dollars. He mentioned that he prefers a neck shot as to not damage the fur. Can anyone do this or are there special licenses you need in order to buy and sell?

You need a fur buyers license to buy, you need to have legally obtained the coyote to sell. There are a few posts in the trapping section describing the legalities

Any legally harvested coyote can be sold to a fur buyer. Once its tanned you can sell it to anyone who will pay.

Same applies to foxes, wolves, badgers, racoons, etc.

The above is accurate. Quick, lock the thread before misinformation makes its way on here
