He has been on here before posting. In the not too distant past as well.

I would love to see him posting more. His videos on youtube are outstanding.

Edit: Found one of his posts if you would like to message him.

I was going to PM you with a quick question about something that you said at the Rendezvous......

When you are baiting you said that you liked to put large pieces out so the yotes had to stay there to eat. Do you have any suggestions for a fella that's using muskrats as bait.......assuming that I can't freeze them into a block of ice?

Sorry for the hijack but ya gotta strike when the iron's hot.

Yeah, meatcicles work good, I used them last winter with my deer carcasses and trim that I froze into rubbermaid containers. The problem right now is that it's still too warm out and the meatcicles would just melt. I'd like to get at it this week. I guess that I've got to find a few road kills.

I meant to use a large enough piece so they can't drag it away in the bush and eat it there at their leisure. I prefer very large pieces (cow skulls) or very small trimmings so they MUST keep coming to the bait site to eat. This way they make all the trails where you want them to be. Rat carcasses are great for bait. However, unless you have a lot of them, they just don't last too long. Freezing them does work, but you still must reward the coyotes and ravens with actual food or they won't come back as often. It takes ALOT of bait to run a successful coyote line. Hope that clears things up. Ryan
