Default What's the story on Burbot?

What's the story on Burbot?

Are they good eating?
Possibly good smoked?

From what it looks like in the regs, Burbot would qualify as a fish that can be "bow-fished" [along with Lake Whitefish] but having never caught or eaten a Burbot, I'm wondering if they'd be worth the effort.

Wow, it looks like Perch would be open to Bowfishing as well! [Lake Whitefish, Burbot, Perch] This is getting exciting!

Any other species to add to the list?

Default Burbot

We fish for them all winter.
Beer batter them, fry them , boil them then butter them like lobster, however you do any fish. One of the tastiest out there.
