Default little beaver action

Shot a beaver tonight by myself so this guy was plenty to pack out glad I didnt shoot the other 4 laying beside him is my marlin 22mag for size comparison

Now that is a nice big beaver! Yeah, he'd be a bit heavy carrying out.....lol.

Looks like that beaver might have had some bear in the gene pool.
You should have weighed him. Looks like he could have gone 50-60 lbs.

Should start a threat for biggest catch in different furbearers like on fishing forum.

I just use a bathroom scale - weigh yourself and the beaver together then just yourself and figure out the difference. Would be pretty close to accurate

ADC job landowner gave me the beavers. They are really annoying the fellow.

Pretty nice monsters there Bill. I had to clean three out yesterday . Was surprised that a 38gr 22 hollow point did the trick. Not worth much so I'll tan them. I tanned a couple for bathroom rugs 14 years ago and they are still as good as newhttp://

Nope just some. 22 American Eagle long rifle. They just doubled over and that was it. I sold my 22 mag when beaver hit bottom. I waited till they were swimming away and boom right behind the ear.
